Rules of Conduct for Blogging

What is a community based social gaming site without the ability to share and communicate to the actual community? You can use this forum to talk about anything you want - specific games, looking for group/game requests, show off a cool mini you painted or a short story you are writing, etc - provided it meets the following standards:

  1. The Dragon's Tear Tavern will not tolerate any discrimination. Violation of this will result in some or all of your blog posts being removed, temporary banning of the user who posted and potential removal of website membership.
  2. No advertisement is permitted in your blog. The very nature of social gaming permits discussion and naming of specific games. This is not seen as advertising. Links to games, related web sites and strategy guides is certainly permitted.
  3. Trademarks - Any of the trademarks, service marks, collective marks, design rights, personality rights or similar rights that are mentioned, used or cited on The Dragon's Tear Tavern are the property of their respective owners. Unless otherwise stated, The Dragon's Tear Tavern site is neither endorsed nor affiliated with any of the holders of any such rights and as such The Dragon's Tear Tavern can not grant any rights to use any otherwise protected materials. Your use of any such or similar incorporeal property is at your own risk.
  4. These blogs are participant-moderated. Users are also encouraged to report blog posts (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) which do not comply with the rules set forth in this list. An administrator will review any blog post marked for review or inappropriateness and make a determination of its validity. We depend on you to be our eyes and ears since this is not our full time job.
  5. Blogs are stamped with User Name and IP address. "Nettiquite" is expected of all blog users. Please use your good judgment in posting. Never post anything you wouldn't say directly to someone's face - these are not anonymous postings.

Thank you!
